IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL – Giantex Outdoor Lounge Chairs

Giantex is issuing a voluntary recall of Giantex outdoor lounge chairs in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The Subject Products have a design defect that allows consumers to place their fingers in a pinch point when adjusting the chair, posing an amputation hazard. Giantex has received one report of a consumer’s finger being amputated while adjusting the lounge chair.

This recall applies to the following model sold beginning August 2023: 

Model Number:NP10025NY(GT10025-NPSA)

Remedy & Next Steps:

Consumers should stop using the lounge chair immediately and contact Giantex by email at support@giantex.com, by phone at (844) 242-1885 or directly on Amazon to get a full refund.

To receive a full refund, you must follow these steps:

- First, immediately stop using the lounge chair.

- Second, confirm your chair is part of the recall by checking the model number printed on the front and side of the packaging, or by contacting us at 844-242-1885 or support@giantex.com and providing information about your chair (which may include order information).

- Third, destroy the lounge chair by detaching the headrest pillow and cutting the fabric, as shown in the image below:

- Finally, provide photographic evidence of destruction to: support@giantex.com for a full refund. Refunds will be available within 7 days of your submission.
